What makes us Sichuan?
Sichuan pepper is a spice from the Sichuan cuisine of China's southwestern Sichuan Province. It has a unique aroma and flavor that is neither hot like chili peppers nor pungent like black pepper. Instead, it has slight lemony overtones and creates a tingly numbness in the mouth.
What makes us Nashville?
Nashville style hot chicken has two key ingredients; lard, and cayenne pepper. Instead of using lard, we make our own chili oil in house with Canola oil ONLY to sub for the lard that traditional Nashville style uses and infuse our Sichuan spices with Cayenne Pepper.
